Marsha P. Johnston, Sylvia Rivera, Harvey Milk, Edith Windsor, and Arsham Parsi just to name a few. The LGBTQ+ community has always had activists who have stood up for our rights and equality in the face of hardship and adversity.

In honour of the many people worldwide who have fought for our rights, brought positive change and continue to inspire others, Devon & Lang has partnered with the LOVED. collection founder and LGBTQ+ activist Ryan Massel (aka Mr. Fab) to create a collection designed for all gender expressions. The collection is titled ‘Be Seen’ and reminds the community to embrace their power and beauty.

The unique collection features 3 pouched and 2 pouch-less options containing mesh inserts that allow the wearer to ‘Be Seen’ in unique ways.

ln 2018, during an annual PRIDE celebration in Nashville, I was confronted by a mob of aggressive protestors, holding hateful and threatening signs. Their intention were to disrupt myself and thousands of others during the joyous occasion.

In that exact moment, I took notice of an individual who was positioned quietly and protectively in front of the group with a small sign their own, which read;

“You are valid and loved.”

That small sign blocked out the noise of the mob and those words were the only words my heart felt.

Returning to Canada, those words continued to sit with me everyday.

Realizing that these simple words held so much power, I knew that if I could use my voice and partner with others to share the messaged of love and support, we would be able to reach those who need hear it too.

With that, the concept of the LOVED. collection was born.

A collaborative collection of products designed to bring a meaningful message of equality, love, and hope to others all whilst sharing important stories from the LGBTQ+ communities past and present.

This year the LOVED. collection is celebrating its 5th year of thoughtful collaborations supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

To date over 25 collaboration have been shared and throughout the years has raised thousands of dollars which have been donated to the LGBTQ+ community, organizations and charities, including The Alex, End of the Rainbow Foundation, Skipping Stone and the Rainbow Railroad.
